Antimony is listed as a critical raw material by the EU, the United States and China. Used in semiconductors, flame retardants, lead batteries, ammunition and metal alloys.
Our antimony is extracted from the natural deposits of the Tibesti region, in northern Chad — a geologically exceptional area. Analyses carried out by ALS Bochum (Germany) and ALS France, Lyon confirm a concentration of 560,000 mg/kg DM, i.e. 57.73% Sb — an export-grade level directly exploitable by industrial refiners.
Major competitive advantage: Low arsenic content (only 400 mg/kg). Arsenic is a penalizing impurity in international antimony transactions — our ore is virtually free of it, which significantly increases its market value.
